Crystal Symphony
Crystal Symphony is a cruise ship built at Kværner Masa-Yards in Finland that entered service as the oldest vessel in the Crystal Cruises fleet. The ship underwent multiple major refits throughout its operational history, including a significant 2006 renovation costing US$23 million that was the largest refit ever undertaken by Crystal Cruises. Following its parent company's bankruptcy and the ship's arrest in Bahamian waters due to outstanding fuel bills, Crystal Symphony was purchased by A&K Travel Group for US$25 million and transferred to new ownership and management.
Crystal Symphony has a gross tonnage of 51,044 and carries up to 606 passengers in 310 cabins, supported by a crew of 530. The ship measures 238 metres in length with a beam of 31 metres and spans 12 decks. It is powered by Wartsila engines and operates at a service speed of 21 knots.
