What We Collect

We collect only the information you voluntarily provide:

• Email address — when you subscribe to the Daily Brief newsletter
• Vessel reports — if you submit a data correction, the information you provide (no personal data required)

We do not use tracking cookies. We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool that does not collect personally identifiable information.

How We Use Your Email

Your email address is used solely to send the Daily Brief newsletter you subscribed to. We will never sell, share, or rent your email address to third parties.

Email Service Provider

Emails are sent via Resend. Your email address is stored in their system for the purpose of email delivery. See Resend's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights

You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. To request deletion of your data, use the unsubscribe link and your address will be removed from all systems.

• Wikipedia — vessel histories, IMO numbers, MMSI numbers, build data, and technical specifications. Content used under CC BY-SA 3.0.
• VesselFinder — MMSI verification and live AIS position data
• MarineTraffic — supplementary vessel identification data
• Cruise line official websites — fleet composition, vessel status, and capacity figures

News & Briefings

• News articles are sourced from publicly available RSS feeds from industry publications including Seatrade Cruise News, Cruise Industry News, Cruise Hive, GCaptain, and others. All articles link to and credit the original source.
• Daily Brief summaries are AI-generated from the sourced articles and do not constitute original reporting.

Images

• Vessel images are sourced from Wikimedia Commons and other publicly available sources.
• Cruise line logos are the property of their respective companies and are used for identification purposes only.

Corrections

If you spot an error in our fleet data, use the “Report an issue” button on any vessel page. We appreciate all corrections from industry professionals and enthusiasts.
