Disney Adventure
Disney Adventure is the eighth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the first vessel of the Global-class, making her one of the largest cruise ships in the world and the largest cruise ship ever built in Germany. Originally ordered as Global Dream before Disney acquired the partially completed hull from MV Werften's insolvency, the ship features iconic Disney character designs on her bow and stern, including Captain Mickey and Captain Minnie. Disney Adventure is also the first four-funnelled ocean-going passenger vessel since the retirement of the RMS Aquitania 75 years prior.
Disney Adventure measures 342 metres in length with a beam of 46 metres and a gross tonnage of 208,000. The ship has 20 decks, 2,111 cabins, and a lower berth passenger capacity of 4,700, supported by a crew of 2,300. She is powered by MAN engines and operates at a service speed of 23 knots.
