Disney Magic

Disney Magic is the first ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet and the lead vessel of the Magic-class, built by Fincantieri in Italy with construction occurring at both the Ancona and Marghera shipyards before final assembly at Marghera. The ship features distinctive Art Deco design with a black hull and red accents reflecting Mickey Mouse colors, and notably carries yellow lifeboats matching Mickey's shoes rather than standard safety orange, a choice that required a waiver under international maritime regulations. Disney Magic entered service with her maiden voyage in 1998 and has remained in operation since.
