Built by Fincantieri in Italy, Bolette is the fourth and last Rotterdam-class cruise ship, originally constructed as MS Amsterdam and serving as co-flagship of Holland America Line alongside her sister ship Rotterdam. The vessel was transferred to Fred. Olsen Cruise Lines and renamed Bolette, continuing its operational service under new ownership.
Bolette has a gross tonnage of 62,735 and measures 238 metres in length with a beam of 32 metres. She accommodates up to 1,338 passengers on a lower berth basis across 690 cabins spread over 10 decks, supported by a crew of 615. Her engines are of the Wartsila-Sulzer type and she operates at a service speed of 25 knots.
