
Marella Explorer 2
Marella Explorer 2 is the lead ship of the Century-class cruise ships, originally built by Meyer Werft in Germany and launched in 1995 as Century for Celebrity Cruises. The vessel underwent the line's most extensive refurbishment to date in 2006, completed by Fincantieri's Palermo shipyard, and during its final season with Celebrity Cruises visited 77 ports in 32 countries, the most destinations of any ship in the Celebrity fleet. After service with SkySea Cruise Line, the ship joined Marella Cruises in 2019 following a major refurbishment in Cadiz, Spain.
