MSC Poesia

MSC Poesia is a Musica-class cruise ship built by Aker Yards in St. Nazaire, France, and the first vessel in the MSC Cruises fleet to be officially named outside Italy, christened by Sophia Loren in Dover. Originally the company's flagship, the ship was displaced by MSC Fantasia and has sailed on various Mediterranean and Northern European routes since entering service. The vessel experienced two collision incidents, first with Costa Classica in the Adriatic Sea caused by a loosened anchor, and later with sister ship MSC Orchestra in Buenos Aires due to navigational error.
