Norwegian Jade
Norwegian Jade began service as Pride of Hawaii, the largest and most expensive U.S. flagged passenger ship ever built at over half a billion dollars, before being redeployed to Europe and renamed in 2008 following market challenges in Hawaii. The vessel was notably used as a floating hotel during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi and underwent a significant refurbishment that replaced her original Hawaiian theme with contemporary styling.
Norwegian Jade measures 294 metres in length with a beam of 38 metres and spans 15 decks. The ship accommodates 2,402 passengers on a lower berth basis across 1,201 cabins, supported by a crew of 1,037. She operates at a service speed of 25 knots.
