Carnival Elation

Carnival Elation was the first cruise ship to be equipped with an Azipod propulsion system, which provides better maneuverability compared to traditional shaft propellers. Built by Kværner Masa-Yards at its Helsinki New Shipyard in Finland, the ship was floated out and christened by Shari Arison Dorsman, with her inaugural cruise beginning in 1998. Despite being the smallest ship in the current Carnival fleet, she offers a wide array of activities and amenities including multiple lounges, pools, Jacuzzis, and elevators.
