Carnival Cruise Line is the largest cruise line in the world by passengers carried, founded in 1972 by Ted Arison with a single secondhand ship. Headquartered in Miami and owned by Carnival Corporation, the line now operates over 25 ships and carries approximately 6 million passengers annually. Carnival is known for its Fun Ship concept, energetic onboard atmosphere, and value-oriented pricing.
