Carnival Freedom
Carnival Freedom is a Conquest-class cruise ship built by Fincantieri at its Marghera shipyard in Venice, Italy, and the last of the Conquest-class ships to enter service with Carnival Cruise Line. The ship was formally named by American model and actress Kathy Ireland and initially sailed Mediterranean cruises from Civitavecchia before transitioning to Caribbean voyages and eventually repositioning to Alaska. Following a major renovation that debuted a water park, Carnival Freedom has served various homeports including Miami, Port Everglades, Galveston, and Seattle.
Carnival Freedom measures 289 metres in length with a beam of 38 metres and a gross tonnage of 110,320. The ship accommodates 2,984 passengers on a lower berth basis across 1,492 cabins spread over 13 decks, supported by a crew of 1,150. She operates at a service speed of 22 knots.
