Carnival Venezia
Originally designed as the first Costa Cruises vessel built specifically for the Chinese market, Carnival Venezia debuted as Costa Venezia and became the largest ship in the Costa fleet upon her delivery. Following the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on the cruise industry, she was transferred to Carnival Cruise Line in 2023 as part of a corporate fleet reshuffling and renamed to serve as the lead vessel for a new Venice-class sub-fleet operating under the "Costa as Carnival" concept.
Carnival Venezia measures 324 metres in length with a beam of 37 metres and a gross tonnage of 135,225. The ship has 14 decks and 2,116 cabins, accommodating up to 4,232 passengers at lower berths, supported by a crew of 1,393. Propulsion is provided by MAN engines, and the vessel operates at a service speed of 22 knots.
