Westerdam

MS Westerdam is a Vista-class cruise ship operated by Holland America Line, notable for featuring an art collection themed around Dutch heritage in the New World, including an original Andy Warhol portrait and paintings of historic Dutch ships such as Henry Hudson's Halve Maen. The ship has experienced several significant incidents, including striking ice in Yakutat Bay, a boiler room fire that forced her return to Seattle, and a tragic 2015 sightseeing plane crash that killed all nine people aboard a de Havilland Canada DHC-3 Otter carrying passengers from the vessel.
