HX

HX (formerly Hurtigruten Expeditions) is a global expedition cruise line with roots going back to 1896. The line rebranded from Hurtigruten Expeditions to HX in December 2023 and became fully independent from the Hurtigruten coastal operation in February 2025. HX operates five purpose-built expedition ships - MS Roald Amundsen, MS Fridtjof Nansen, MS Fram, MS Spitsbergen, and MS Santa Cruz II - sailing to polar regions, Antarctica, the Arctic, the Galapagos, and remote destinations across all seven continents. The ships are fitted with hybrid battery-powered propulsion systems and science centres for onboard expedition programming.
