Norwegian Dawn

Norwegian Dawn is a cruise ship operated by Norwegian Cruise Line that was originally intended to be delivered to Star Cruises under the name SuperStar Scorpio but was instead sent to Norwegian Cruise Line as Norwegian Dawn. The ship was christened by actress Kim Cattrall and notably became the first NCL vessel to carry hull art, a concept that proved successful and was subsequently adopted across most other NCL ships. Throughout its service, Norwegian Dawn has experienced several significant incidents including encounters with rogue waves, a complete power loss affecting over 2,000 passengers, and a grounding near Bermuda caused by a steering malfunction.
