Island Princess

Island Princess is a Coral-class cruise ship built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France and operated by Princess Cruises as one of only two Panamax ships in the fleet's inventory. The ship was christened by Olympic gold medalists Jamie Salé and David Pelletier and primarily operates seven-day Alaskan cruises from Vancouver during summer months and Panama Canal cruises during other seasons. A major 2015 refit added 121 new staterooms by removing a lounge and aft promenade space, increasing passenger capacity while also removing the symbolic gas turbines from the ship's funnels.
