Royal Princess
Royal Princess is the third ship to sail for Princess Cruises under that name and served as the company's flagship upon her delivery in 2013, making her the largest ship built for Princess at that time. As the lead vessel of the Royal class, she lends her name to the class of six ships. Among her notable features are cantilevered walkways called the SeaWalk extending over the port and starboard sides, and she was one of the first passenger ships built to comply with safe return to port requirements.
Royal Princess measures 330 metres in length with a beam of 47 metres and spans 18 decks. She accommodates up to 3,560 passengers on a lower berth basis across 1,780 cabins, supported by a crew of 1,350. The ship is powered by Wartsila engines and operates at a service speed of 22 knots.
