Utopia of the Seas
Utopia of the Seas is the sixth Oasis-class cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean International and ranks as the third largest cruise ship in the world by gross tonnage. As the first ship in her class to be powered by liquefied natural gas, she represents an advancement in environmentally conscious cruise ship technology. The vessel entered service out of Port Canaveral in July 2024, built by Chantiers de l'Atlantique in France.
The ship has a gross tonnage of 236,473 and is rated for 5,668 passengers on a lower berth basis, supported by a crew of 2,290. She measures 362 metres in length with a beam of 66 metres, spanning 17 decks and offering 2,834 cabins in total. Propulsion is provided by Wartsila engines, with a service speed of 23 knots.
