Viking Octantis

Viking Octantis is a Polar Class 6 expedition ship built for Viking Cruises' expedition division, designed with dimensions specifically fitted to pass through the Welland Canal. The vessel features distinctive onboard facilities including the Hangar for expedition equipment and submersibles, the Aula auditorium inspired by the University of Oslo's Nobel Peace Prize venue, and the Laboratory space developed in coordination with organizations including NOAA, Cornell Lab of Ornithology, and the Scott Polar Research Institute to conduct scientific research during cruises to Antarctica and the Great Lakes.
