Grand Princess

Grand Princess was the first Grand-class cruise ship built by Fincantieri in Monfalcone, Italy, and was the largest and most expensive passenger ship ever built at the time of her construction. Christened by actress Olivia de Havilland, the ship features a distinctive interior decor scheme using darker woods that differs from her sister ships, and she served as the setting for a task in the second series of the UK version of The Apprentice reality television show. A significant 2011 dry-dock removed her aft nightclub and resolved a bow-high sailing tendency specific to Grand Princess, improving her fuel economy by approximately 3-4 percent.
