AIDA Cruises is Germany's largest cruise line, headquartered in Rostock and a subsidiary of Carnival Corporation. Founded in 1996, AIDA pioneered the club-ship concept in Germany, offering a casual, resort-style atmosphere aimed primarily at the German-speaking market. The line operates 11 ships, identifiable by their distinctive painted lips and eyes on the bow. AIDAnova, delivered in 2018, was the world's first cruise ship powered entirely by LNG. AIDA sails to destinations across Europe, the Caribbean, Asia, and beyond.
