Star Legend
Star Legend is an ultra-luxury cruise yacht built by Schichau-Seebeckwerft in Bremerhaven, Germany, and is the identical sister ship of Star Pride and Star Breeze, all designed by Petter Yran and Bjørn Storbraaten. Originally planned for Seabourn Cruise Line but purchased by Royal Viking Line due to financial constraints, the vessel served as the last and smallest ship built for that company before passing through Royal Cruise Line and Seabourn Cruise Line. The ship was featured in the 1997 film Speed 2: Cruise Control and has been operated by Windstar Cruises since 2015, undergoing a lengthening project at Fincantieri that added a new midship section.
Star Legend measures 159 metres in length with a beam of 19 metres and a gross tonnage of 12,995. She accommodates 343 passengers in 156 cabins across 8 decks, supported by a crew of 190. She operates at a service speed of 15 knots.
