Oslo, NorwayEst. 1893Hurtigruten AS (independent)10 vessels
Hurtigruten is Norway's iconic coastal express service, operating continuously since 1893 along the 2,500-kilometre route from Bergen to Kirkenes, calling at 34 ports. The service functions simultaneously as a passenger ferry, cargo carrier, and cruise experience, and is often called 'the world's most beautiful voyage'. Hurtigruten operates around 10 ships and is an essential transport link for remote Norwegian coastal communities, particularly in winter. The service became fully independent from the HX expedition brand in February 2025.
