
MS Finnmarken
MS Finnmarken is a Norwegian-registered hybrid-driven coastal ship operated by Hurtigruten that serves the Hamburg–North Cape route year-round. Built at Kleven Verft in Ulsteinvik and delivered to the shipping company OVDS in 2002, it is the third ship to bear the Finnmarken name. The vessel was temporarily leased as a hotel ship in Australia from 2010 to 2012, later converted to an expedition cruise ship and renamed Otto Sverdrup, before returning to Hurtigruten service as MS Finnmarken in 2025.
MS Finnmarken accommodates up to 526 passengers on a lower berth basis, supported by a crew of 150. The ship offers 263 cabins across 8 decks and is powered by Wartsila engines with a service speed of 15 knots.
